Managed Software Delivery : Engineering you don’t have to manage. A Golonex lead who owns it.

We build and run software for regulated and growing firms — with a Golonex lead on every engagement, a team we manage, and one monthly report to you. Three ways to work with us. Fixed monthly pricing by seat, dedicated or fractional.

Three ways to work with us

A team we manage, or a build we finish.

01

Dedicated Managed Team

For firms that have a technical lead and need stable, managed capacity.

A dedicated team — developers, QA, DevOps as needed — with a Golonex project manager, dedicated or fractional, who owns delivery and communication. Your lead sets direction. Our PM makes it happen.

  • Fixed monthly price per seat — the dedicated team, a dedicated or fractional project manager, and oversight
  • Three- to six-month minimum, set by the scope of the work
  • We hire, manage, review, and replace. You see outcomes.
  • Monthly report to your technical lead
02

Fractional Engineering Lead + Dedicated Team

For firms without engineering leadership.

A named Golonex lead — fractional CTO or Head of Engineering — joins your leadership table. Under them, a dedicated team we hire, manage, and are accountable for. You get an engineering function, not a vendor.

  • One fixed monthly price: a fractional seat for the lead, dedicated seats for the team
  • Six-month minimum, auto-renews
  • Monthly report: delivery, quality, risks, roadmap
  • You never manage an individual engineer. That’s our job.
03

Fixed-Scope Build

For bounded deliverables with a clear finish line.

Three phases, priced in order. Change orders follow a priced process agreed before kickoff. Your delays extend ours day-for-day. No surprises in either direction.

  1. Phase 1

    Discovery

    Fixed price

We define scope, acceptance criteria, and the build quote.

  2. Phase 2

    Build

    Fixed price per milestone

Built from the discovery spec. Each milestone accepted, each paid.

  3. Phase 3

    Maintain

    Fixed monthly seat

Fixes, improvements, and releases once the build is live.

How every engagement works

One lead. One team. One report.

  • A named Golonex lead on the engagement, reporting to you monthly
  • The team is ours to hire, manage, and replace — you work with your Golonex lead, not individual developers
  • Fixed monthly pricing by seat — dedicated or fractional — so you know the number before the month starts
  • Clear scope, written acceptance, and a defined change process before kickoff
  • Evidence and documentation delivered as we go — audit-ready if you need it
  • Leadership seats carry a six-month minimum; teams three to six months, set by the scope of the work and the project

Where you also hold a Fractional Leadership seat, the seat-holder scopes the work and reviews the result. The teams are staffed with managed talent — vetted engineers under a Golonex lead.

How we scope it

Four steps. A fixed price by the third.

  1. 01 Discovery. A fixed-price first step defines the problem, the acceptance criteria, and the quote.
  2. 02 Seats or milestones. The scope is written as dedicated and fractional seats for a team, or as milestones for a build.
  3. 03 A fixed price. Per seat per month, or per milestone — known before the work starts.
  4. 04 Kickoff. Your named Golonex lead is introduced and the date of the first monthly report is set.
What we build

FAQ

Managed software delivery — your questions, answered

How is it priced? +

Fixed, and known in advance. Team engagements are priced per seat per month — dedicated seats for the team, and a fractional seat for the Golonex lead where you need one. Teams carry a three- to six-month minimum set by the scope of the work, and a leadership seat six months. Builds start with a fixed-price discovery, then a fixed price per milestone, then a fixed monthly seat to maintain what we built. Either way you know the number before the work starts, and the accountability sits with us.

Which model fits us? +

If you have a technical lead and need capacity you do not have to manage, the Dedicated Managed Team. If you have no engineering leadership, the Fractional Engineering Lead with a dedicated team under them. If the work is a bounded deliverable with a clear finish line, a Fixed-Scope Build — starting with a fixed-price discovery that produces the scope and the quote.

Who owns the source code and IP? +

You do — entirely. All source code, designs, models, documentation, and infrastructure configuration produced during the engagement transfer to you. Golonex retains no rights to anything built.

Who builds it? +

A team Golonex hires, manages, reviews, and replaces, led by a named Golonex lead. You work with the lead and judge us on outcomes: the monthly report, the accepted milestones, the working software. If someone is not performing, replacing them is our job, not yours.

What happens when the scope changes? +

On a fixed-scope build, changes follow a priced change process agreed before kickoff, and delays on your side extend the timeline day-for-day. On a team engagement, your lead or ours re-prioritises the backlog within the team you already have. Either way the process is written down before work starts — no surprises in either direction.

Is the software secure and audit-ready? +

Golonex is a security and compliance firm first. Every engagement follows secure-development practices — dependency scanning, secrets management, access control, logging — and evidence and documentation are delivered as we go, so the build stands up to CMMC, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or ISO 42001 scrutiny if you need it to.

Can you take over an existing codebase or a stalled project? +

Yes. It starts the same way a fixed-scope build does: a fixed-price discovery. We audit the architecture, code quality, security posture, and deployment pipeline, and give you a written assessment and a quote before committing to a plan.

Start with discovery. Stay for the team.

Tell us what needs to be built or who needs to build it. We come back with the model that fits, the Golonex lead who would run it, and a fixed price for the first step.
